A collaborative relationship is central to making meaningful change and lasting growth. As a psychotherapist, Alexa aims to create a space where you feel seen, understood, and valued. She is committed to walking with you on your journey from where you are to where you want to be—together, you will work to heal your past, bolster your present, and cultivate a future that aligns with your most authentic self.
Alexa will provide support as you explore your concerns, compassion as you navigate challenges, and encouragement as you work towards your desired goals. Your sessions will be punctuated by a good dose of humor, challenging some ways of thinking that hinder your growth, and honesty as you determine your priorities and create a personalized therapeutic plan. She uses a holistic approach, drawing from IFS (internal family systems), CBT (cognitive behavior therapy), and relational theories and pairing practical tools with your internal resources. As a certified yoga instructor, Alexa has a deep appreciation for the art and science of the mind-body connection and integrates embodied healing practices with her work.
Prior to becoming a therapist, Alexa led careers in the healthtech and startup spaces. As Chief of Staff at an international company, she developed effective communications, facilitated cross-functional decision-making, and implemented conflict resolution strategies. She leverages her professional experience to help you overcome obstacles and unlock your full potential.

Alexa is currently pursuing her M.A. in Counseling For Mental Health and Wellness from New York University. She holds a B.A. in Human Health from Emory University and a Concentration in Health Innovation from Goizueta Business School.
